This course provides the participant with an insightful overview of leadership, varying definitions of leadership, examples of effective leaders as well as effective leadership models, qualities, principles and approaches designed to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.  In addition, participants will discuss the importance of character as a foundational tool, power types and differentiate between managing and leading and review effective leadership and decision-making models designed to enhance leadership effectiveness for the 21st century.
